The difference with „Knoppix“

„Berry Linux“ is a bootable CD Linux which was made by Red Hat RPM. Its uses Knoppix’s hardware automatic recognition program (hwsetup) and compression file system (cloop). Therefore, „Berry Linux“ is almost equivalent to Red Hat software, and is not compatible with Knoppix.

Knoppix is a Debian (Linux for developers) base, and „Berry Linux“ is a Red Hat (for general) base. A difference is in the method of starting of a deamon, a difference is in the place on which a file is put, or there is a fine difference.

And „Berry Linux“ is made, although being the compact, aiming toward the useful system. Its aim to use new technology as much as possible, ease of use exceed Windows.
